Here I am, after what has been a mammoth quiet period. Where have I been, I hear you ask?
Easy answer is no where exciting. Just the usual drudgery of working, eating, sleeping, looking after the family and then trying to reassess my life. Work is the major bug bear, as it is for most people, but I have decided that enough is enough and I have to make a change. I will write about this in a separate post because there is just too much to talk about.
The Little Lady is now 3yrs 3 months! She is such an awesome little human being, if I do say so myself. She is chatting so much and is very adept at being a threenager, she is so sassy, her hand is on her hip a lot. Some of the things that she says to us are incredibly cheeky but make you chuckle whilst you are trying to not let her see, for instance we have been teaching her that it is rude to talk with your mouth full. She is getting the hang of it but if you should be eating in her presence and happen to even utter any words with food in your mouth she will pull you up on it! I also went through a period of asking her if she was actually listening to me, because for most of time it would appear that she had gone deaf. Then a couple of days after I had decided that asking her was just wasting my time I hear “Mummy, Mummy, are you listening too me? hoo hoo!” I’m not sure who in our house says you hoo, but it is something that she has picked up on and likes to use occasionally along with a few other things that she has her us say.
One of the main things that has occurred recently is that we have had another baby! I know this is a pretty major change to our lives.
We had a little girl in February. Little P made quite an entrance into this world and has been rocking our world ever since. Life with two is most definitely crazy but the Little Lady is taking to her role as “big sister” very well. Like so many people I’ve always felt like I am winging it with parenting and now there is another small person in the house that feeling hasn’t gone away and what’s worse is I can’t remember what I did the first time around!
